2017 Prom Information

Prom is May 6th 8-11:30 at Cedar Point ballroom. Afterprom will be at Cedar Lanes 11:55-3:00. Tickets are $60/couple or $35/single. All school fees and negative lunch balances must be paid prior to purchasing a ticket, and everyone attending prom must have a completed transportation permission form on file.

2017 Middle School Awards Ceremony

Margaretta Middle School is very proud to announce its annual awards ceremony to recognize achievements of middle school students in the areas of academics, athletics, and character.

Please join us May 19, 2017 in the gym at 1:00 P.M. to celebrate the accomplishments of our middle school students!

MS/HS Daily Announcements

4/24/17 MS/HS ANNOUNCEMENTS: Mrs. Miller has 12 t-shirts left from the track meet Friday. If you are interested in one, she will have them in the lobby tomorrow & Wed. morning for sale $12. Checks can be made out to MHS SADD. Only smalls in both pinks are left.

The Sandusky Library is offering a program titled, "Getting Your Child Ready for College", on Wednesday, April 26th at 6:00 p.m. Students and parents are invited to this session that will help them develop a calendar for what needs to be done and when it should be completed. Also Thursdays from 2:30-4:00 p.m. The Center for Lifelong Learning is offering Basic Computer Skills and Job Search classes.

Baccalaureate planning meeting Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 7:30pm in the Gathering Area at Grace Lutheran Church.

Two scholarships have been delivered to the Guidance Office today. Both are due in just a few weeks so please stop by and pick up an application today.

A scholarship is available from the UAW Local 913 for any student who is child, grandchild, or legal ward of a member of any unit affiliated with Local 913 UAW. Stop by the Guidance Office for an application.

Please stop by the Guidance Office and sign the clip board with any scholarships you have received and continue to record them as you receive them. This information will be listed in the graduation program. If you do not tell us, it will not be in the program.

Please stop by the Guidance Office to get an application form for all local scholarships. Last year over 35 scholarships were chosen by the scholarship committee with this one application. Don't hesitate to return this application to the Guidance Office by April 28th.

2017-2018 Course Description Guide

The 2017-2018 Course Description Guide is now available online.

ACT and SAT practice tests available through OhioMeansJobs K-12

Students in Ohio can take free practice tests for the ACT and SAT through OhioMeansJobs K-12 for both college admission exams. The practice tests are in the Assessment and Training Center. The center is a collection of online practice tests and skill improvement resources for students from grade four through adult and job seekers. A variety of practice tests are available including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP, GED, WorkKeys, ASVAB (Armed Forces Vocational Aptitude Battery), and tests for nursing, plumbing, EMT and electrical careers. Modules to help improve computer, writing and math skills also are available.

There are options within each exam that allow a user to practice with explanations, simulate the real test or learn by reviewing the answers as they go along. Upon completion of any practice test, a record will be stored in the student's OhioMeansJobs K-12 Backpack.
