2017 Yearbooks

Last year's graduating seniors and any Ehove or CCP student that ordered a 2017 Yearbook may pick it up in the High School office during school hours.

Middle School Yearbooks will be delivered to the students at school within the next few days.

MS/HS Daily Announcements

Attention all 6th and 7th grade students and staff: All 6th and 7th Grade students will be going to Lyman Harbor Wednesday, September 27 for an anti-bullying assembly called "Words Hurt." Buses will leave at 8:30 AM and return at 10:15 AM. This assembly is being put on by the Erie County Sheriff's Department.

The first high school yearbook meeting will be Tuesday, September 26th from 2:45-3:45. Anyone in grades 9-12 interested in being on the yearbook staff should attend the meeting or contact Mrs. Meyers (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

Attention all students and staff: the next Christian Community for Youth Breakfast is Wednesday, October 4th at 7:15 AM at the Congregational Church (white church). This is a free breakfast for all. Also, the next Prayer By the Pole will be Wednesday, October, 11 at 7:45 AM. Hope to see everyone there for a quick devotion.

Polar Bear Swim Club fall session starts Monday September 25th. See Coach Szymanski for more information.

7th & 8th graders interested in parlimentary procedure, there will be a meeting this Thursday, at 7:45 a.m. in the Ag Building.

The PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude/National Merit Scholarship Qualification Test) will be given to college bound juniors on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. You may find the experience and the information very useful in planning for your future education. It also allows you to compete for the National Merit Scholarship. The test will give an impartial assessment on your ability to do college work and compare you with college bound juniors on the national level.

A student bulletin containing more information and sample test questions in available in the Guidance Office. Students who wish to take the test should sign up in the Guidance Office. There is a fee of $16.00. This fee must be paid before taking the test.

National Honor Society candidates: If you are interested in becoming a member of NHS, your activity form along with a letter of reference are due to Mrs. Bonnigson by Friday 9/22/17

Powder Puff sign ups are in the main office. This is for all 9-12th graders. Please sign up by October 1st.

NACAC Performing and Visual Arts will be offering fairs at Xavier University Oct. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. & at The Huntington Convention Center on Oct. 4th from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. for students interested in pursuing undergraduate programs in the arts.

Terra State Community College is hosting the Sandusky County College Fair on Monday, October 2nd from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. More than 60 college and university representatives will be there to answer your questions.

On Wednesday, September 27th the High School Guidance Office will be holding a senior assembly in the cafeteria during 11th period to discuss college information, scholarship information and information on important numbers and addresses. You will receive a packet with everything you need to know to graduate. Please stop by the Guidance Office and sign the clip board to be excused from class.

The Elks National Foundation is offering the Most Valuable Student Scholarship to graduating seniors. For more information and to apply go to enf.elks.org/mvs.

7th/12th Grade Required Vaccinations

For the 2017-2018 school year, the Ohio Department of Health requires a Meningitis vaccine and booster vaccine of Tdap prior to entry into 7th grade. Click here for more information.

 For the 2017-2018 school year, Ohio law will require that your child has received two (2) Meningitis vaccines before entry into the twelfth grade. If your child has not received any meningococcal vaccines and they are over the age of 16, only one dose will be required. Click here for more information.

If he/she has not already received the these vaccinations at a recent check-up, please make an appointment soon to avoid the summer rush. Proof of vaccine must be turned in to the school by September 15th to avoid being excluded from school.

The vaccines are also available at any of the Erie County Health Department Outreach Clinics. Margaretta Township Hall has Outreach Clinics on May 25th and June 15th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 am. Please call (419) 626-5623 Ext. 174. to schedule an appointment. Additional dates and a schedule of area clinics can be found at www.eriecohealthohio.org or in the school office. Middle School/High School Grade Cards

Middle school and high school grade cards are now available in Progress Book or to be picked up in the Main Office. If accessing a grade card in Progress Book, follow these steps:
1. Sign in to Progress Book
2. In left hand column, click on "Report Card"
3. In upper right of page, click "View Paper Report Card"
4. Print
If needing to pick up in the Main Office, please call (419) 684-5351 in advance for the report card to be printed and available.
